Societá di danza - Padova -

Courses

We study the social dances of the nineteenth century tradition:waltzes, polkas, mazurkas, quadrilles, and Scottish dancing contradances system(Royal Scottish Country Dance Society). Indeed group dances and couple dances. In our dances each person interacts with the other dancers and the choreography is designed in function of a group, and it is only thanks to the contribution of each dancer that the dance finds its realization. Every year all the national and international teachers (over 1000 members) of the Society of Dance, teach and make student practice for members of a chosen selection of dances from the repertoire drawn from the manuals of the masters of the past. This way, everyone is able to dance the same dances while belonging to different circles. This system makes possible the participation of members in any event organized by the Society of dance.

Some come from other forms of dance, but the majority are passionate about their first experience.
